Security Flaws In Facebook Chat Application
Facebook users need to be readily aware of the security flaws in the current Facebook chat application . Never put anything like passwords, social security numbers or other compromising information inside of the chat window.
Last night I got a email message from a good friend that was obvious spam and after talking with him he realized not only was his passwords to his gmail account were compomised but he found all his messages missing and every contact on his email list got email bragging about the great computer he bought online last night from a spammer ‘s web site.
Facebook chat is insecure and it quite alright to recommend a web site to a fellow face book user like http://findthewildlifepro.us and http://www.thewildlifepro.com but it is another to pass on anything sensitive or potentially damaging like account information. Never put anything in facebook chat that you don’t want others to see read or find out. Facebook is not the place for anything sensitive.
