Meet NWCOA member Steve Albano, designer and manufacturer of The Gophinator, and owner of Peninsula Animal Trapping, a gopher and mole control business in the San Francisco Bay Area in operation since 1992. Steve does gopher control on a large scale, with several hundred residential gopher control accounts active at any one time. Steve also does work for parks, schools, homeowner associations, and currently seven 18-hole golf courses.
We are honored that Steve comes back to discuss mole, vole, gopher and ground squirrel trapping. To be fair we invite other mole trap vendors like Alan Huot to become part of the discussion. Kirk Dekalb has an an extended background in construction, the dairy business, and farming, this outdoorsman has the ability to see trapping from a different perspective.
Currently holding a Virginia Class A General Contractor’s License helps him to assess the damage and ramifications of soil erosion, irrigation issues, timber losses, and road damage. It is Kirk’s desire to help humans and animals co-exist for the good of all mankind.
